For about 38 years, this guy has been so much more then just my brother…Tomas Cheesmond. The go-to driver, fixer, painter, plumber, cocktail maker (with ketchup)… and my number one cheerleader.
In early March, when I lost my hair, he said he was going to shave his. I said, "NO WAY!!!!" As much as I appreciated the gesture, he didn’t need to lose his dark curly locks because I lost mine.
“Don’t cut your hair," I said.
And he quite literally didn’t… any of it… Until now!!!!
At the kids and Leanne Cheesmond's request he sported a mullet, Mohawk, and twisted wild redneck beard and goatee!!! Landing back to “normal”… well the best I could do between giggles and sticking my tongue out for concentration!
Cancer doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed, it takes a toll on the whole family.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words so I have a few of those to share...
